Specialization in Surgery and Obesity: Dr. Koc’s passion for surgical sciences led him to İzmir Atatürk Education and Research Hospital, where he served as a general surgery assistant from 2003 to 2008. He dedicated himself to extensive training in obesity-related surgeries, culminating in the successful completion of his graduate studies. His thesis, titled “The Effects of Obesity on Postoperative Mortality and Morbidity,” showcased his commitment to advancing the understanding and treatment of obesity.
Advanced Training and Expertise: Driven by a desire for continuous improvement and specialization, Dr. Koc pursued further expertise in Gastroenterological Surgery at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine from 2008 to 2010. This additional training allowed him to expand his skill set and knowledge in the surgical field.
Dedication to Medical Service: In 2011, Dr. Koc began his mandatory service at Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil Education and Research Hospital, where he continued to perform obesity surgeries. His dedication to both his profession and the well-being of his patients was evident throughout this period.
Extending His Reach: From 2013 to 2014, Dr. Koc furthered his expertise at Malatya İnönü University, focusing on obesity surgery and Hepatobiliary surgery. This experience allowed him to contribute to the advancement of these specialized fields.
Private Practice and Continuing Excellence: In 2014, Dr. Koc joined the medical team at Aydın State Hospital, where he continued to make a meaningful impact on the lives of his patients. In 2019, driven by his commitment to providing specialized care, he took a significant step in his career by opening his private practice in Aydın.
